DSLRU is the newest way to learn photography, and we think it’ll soon be the #1 place people go to find great content. Our goal is simple: we want to become the #1 e-learning site for photography, and we want you to make money. So what’s so different about DSLRU? Simple – our approach.
If you type anything about photography into a search engine, you’ll get a ton of results. Sifting through it can take hours, and you have no idea what information’s accurate! You could subscribe to a photography magazine, which will have great content, but there’s no guarantee you’ll find an article about what you’re looking to learn. Plus, a lot of people do have great knowledge to share but haven’t managed to get their content published.
DSLRU is the solution to all of this. Our idea is that if we have high-quality content at a low price, people will come here first and be willing to pay a small fee for great content instead of spending hours looking through search results, hoping to find the information they’re looking for. We’ll publish any content you want to produce (as long as it’s related to photography and we don’t already have a course that covers the same topic) at whatever price you want to sell it at, whether it’s $0.99, $99.99, or free. We offer far more generous terms than any traditional publisher, and we’re non-exclusive about our content. You can sell it here and on any other site you’d like to! We can host text classes, video classes, downloadable classes, or mixed-media classes. And if some other type of medium becomes popular, we’ll support that in the future, too. We take care of all of the formatting, hosting, credit card processing, and more. We want to help you get your content online as quickly and easily as possible.
Our goal is to become the true knowledge base of photography so that whether a photographer’s looking to learn what a histogram is or how to reverse mount a lens, she’ll find the answer on DSLRU. We hope you’ll join us!
